The Belgian Beast is the original “Show Stopper” bike. Introduced at Sea Otter 2017, the goal of the Beast was to make people stop in their tracks and take notice. The Beast did that and more. Appearing in more social and print media outlets than we could keep up with, the Beast quickly became the draw of the show with some respected industry vets proclaiming it to be within their top 3 or 5 best bikes at the show.
The design intent for the paint scheme was to honor the hard men and women of Belgium cycling as only the Classics and Belgian Cyclocross can honor that level of athleticism. Additionally, the Beast was set to take part in the famed Belgian Waffle Ride just a few weeks later, so what better way than to pay homage to the hardest one day race in America with a paint scheme that would do it justice.
Since that Sea Otter show in 2017, the Beast has raced the BWR 3 consecutive times (and finished all of them), covered countless road and gravel miles with teammates and friends, and toed the line at more than a few fondos, circuit races, and even some crits. The Beast is a Beast because it has done it all and has the battle scars to prove it.
