Who is your idol? The cliché answer that is true: my parents. They are the best! As for bike racers, I really admire Helen Wyman. She has brought many positive changes to women’s cyclocross while continuing to crush in races and, perhaps most importantly, have fun with competitors and fans.
What’s one thing you always have in your jersey pocket that would surprise people? It’s more surprising how little I have in my jersey pockets. I live and ride in a densely populated area, so I can always catch a Lyft home with just my iphone if something goes wrong.
British Baking Show or Game of Thrones? Game of Thrones, although I am definitely not a Jon Snow fan.
If you could ride anywhere, with anyone, what would you do? Attack every climb on our local road loop while trash talking with my husband, Andrew. A close second would be cruising with family along the beaches and dirt roads at my parents’ house in South Carolina.
What’s the best post ride meal? Tacos!
What’s your favourite podcast or playlist for a road trip? Taylor Swift is a guilty pleasure.
Cheese or cake? Tate’s gluten free chocolate chip cookies. I bring them to every race.
