My wife, Debby (Bull), and I both grew up on our respective family farms in Northeast Nebraska. We married in 1991 after college and started our careers. We have two children, our son Logan, returned to work for our company after a time in college and our daughter Morgan, is a Biomedical Engineer working in California.
I have spent time working in Louisiana, Texas, Kansas, and moved back to Nebraska in 2005.
I started riding bikes in 2008 when my sister wanted to do the Ride Across South Dakota (RASDAK). This got me into road racing, criterium racing, and cyclocross. I was able to get a Sage PDXCX in 2016 and still enjoy lining up for cyclocross races.
Currently I focus most of my time cycling Marathon XCO and Gravel Racing. In 2022 I picked up a Sage Storm King and added some custom paint to match my Ducati. I have really enjoyed this bike.
