There are times when you throw a leg over a brand new bike and you just “know” it feels good. From the first pedal stroke to carving the first turns, the bike just somehow seems to fit and ride perfectly. It is almost like you could walk away from the bike after such a short test ride and feel confident that this is the right bike for you. That is what happened to Nick Pinto.

When the Droptimator launched, it turned quite a few heads in the cycling world. Customers reached out as did a few media folks. One of those media folks happens to be Nick Pinto who has a YouTube channel where he focuses on bikepacking related/ adjacent bikes, products, and adventure rides. He loves the technical riding, but also appreciates the “smooth” stuff. In short, his riding style and knowledge level lined up perfectly with the Droptimator. Nick reached out to us through Instagram and asked if he could test ride the bike to which we replied: “Of course!”

We shipped the bike to Nick with no instructions or directions other than to let us know the bike arrived safely (which it did). From there, Nick was on his own. He took a bunch of pictures and short videos (which he graciously supplied to us) and created his review video. While we did get to see an early preview of the video before it went live, we were blown away with how accurate his description of the bike was. The handling characteristics and the overall vibe of the bike were spot on in our opinion of his review.
