The Powerline has been in the Sage MTB stable for a few years now. In its first two incarnations, it was a super versatile trail bike that could tackle everything from marathon racing to bikepacking adventures to short trail days with some fun/ flowy sections. In 2023 we updated the Powerline with a slacker head angle so that it could tackle the downhills a bit more aggressively, yet we kept the fit of the bike the same as before so everything people loved about the previous generation bike still existed with this update.
When Mountain Bike Action called and asked if we had a Powerline they could check out, our immediate response was “Of Course!!!”. The only caveat that existed was that the demo bikes were all out and the only one we had hanging around was Dave’s personal bike. Thus, we made MBA “pinkie swear” that they would take extra special care with this particular bike as this Powerline has a very special place for Dave (and not just because of the custom cerakote/ anodize finish). And of course they did. The bike was returned in perfect condition and they loved the bike. We could not ask for a better end to the story.
